Bunyan Meeting Flower Festival, July 2010

The church's flower festival provided the opportunity to see something of the wonder and beauty of God's creation. Many people worked hard to make the event possible, in particular the festival designer, Evan Griffiths.

Based on Ecclesiastes 3:1, 'There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven', the arrangements were given names such as 'A time to learn', 'A time to remember', 'A time to harvest' and 'A time to die'. The 44 arrangements were designed by many different people, and sponsored by members and friends of the church; we offer our thanks to all of them.

The event raised £2,000 for St John's Hospice, Moggerhanger. The picture above shows minister Chris Damp and festival designer Evan Griffiths presenting the cheque to the director of St John's Hospice.
