THIS IS OUR STORY

My name is Lydia Saul and my role Keeper of Social History at The Higgins, Bedford.

Museums across the country are considering how best to collect contemporary material connected with the current Covid19 crisis.

Here is a video with our call to our own local community, we aim to record and document how our residents are responding to and coping with being in lockdown and the current crisis.

Watch the video for my introduction to the Making Covid-19 History project and some examples of items that have already been offered:

  • Journals

  • Photographs

  • Artworks

  • Poetry

  • Stories

If you have something

to offer, email Lydia at
