Honouring the Centenary of the Armistice

At Bunyan Meeting we are planning a week of events to mark this important Centenary, starting on 11th November 2018.

10.45am Act of Remembrance
11.00am Two Minutes Silence, followed by
Morning Worship
Including Commemoration of members of Bunyan Meeting and its mission churches, who died in the conflict
led by the Rev’d Chris Damp, Minister of Bunyan Meeting
Sunday 11th November 2018
6.30pm Evening Worship
a celebration of the hymns which brought comfort and hope to those who served in the war, and their loved ones at home; and sustained a nation during the long years of conflict
led by the Rev’d Janet Wootton, Executive President of the Hymn Society

focusing on the members of Bunyan Meeting who died in The Great War, their stories and the story of Bedford and Britain during years of conflict
