'Gaol! Out of Sight, Out of Mind'

As part of the Bunyan Meeting project to engage with Prisons and Prisoners, Reformers and Contemporary Prison life, we invite you to 'Gaol! Out of Sight, Out of Mind'at The Basement at Bunyan gallery.

We are pleased to welcome the artist Sue Hogg, whose ceramic figures have been created to bear witness to the many thousands of people who are held in captivity illegally around the world. Sue's installation brings to our attention those who are hidden from sight and suffer from human rights abuses and injustice.

The exhibition also features the life and work of the the 18th century prison reformer and past worshipper at Bunyan Meeting, John Howard. There are information panels and artefacts ascociated with him.

The exhibition is free and all are welcomed.
