Paul and Silas shackled!

Paul and Silas had been sent out to preach and teach the Good News of Jesus in the towns of Asia Minor. At first everything went well and many people came to know and rejoice in God’s Son. Then after a while, their mission seemed to grind to a halt. They knew God must have some fresh plans for them – but what, they weren’t sure. All they could do was to pray, and wait for a sign. Then one night, with Jesus’ message of hope filling his heart, Paul had a vision …

So begins the musical about the Apostle Paul in Philipi – ‘Jail Break’, that will be performed on Sunday 7 July at 6.30pm at Bunyan Meeting Church in Mill Street, Bedford.

Written by Roger Jones, it is the story of Paul’s visit to Macedonia where he and Silas are shackled, imprisoned and beaten; until the Holy Spirit liberates them!

The event is free and all are welcome.
