Welcome to the Bunyan Meeting website

We are a busy, town centre Christian Church in Mill Street, Bedford with membership of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Congregational Federation.

We are also home to the John Bunyan Museum and Library

Bunyan Meeting Remembers

On Remembrance Sunday crosses were placed on boards behind the Communion Table.

One for each soldier from Bunyan Meeting who died in the two World Wars and whose names are on the memorials in church.

The crosses have now been placed in the Garden of Remembrance.

We will remember them.


Christmas Craft Fayre 2014

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our craft fayre. It was a great success and good to see so many people there.


Bunyan Meeting Roof and Stonework Appeal

The Trustees of Bunyan Meeting have launched an appeal to raise the £660k needed to carry out urgent repairs to the roof and stonework of this historic building.

Bunyan celebrates Harvest

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday 28 September to celebrate Harvest with us.

Click here to see just some of the displays created by the team of flower arrangers at Bunyan Meeting.

Thank you to everyone who came along to help and to all those who donated produce, food items and flowers. This Harvest we have supported BeCHaR at the Prebend Day Centre.


 

Sunday Services

11.00am - Family Worship

including creche for under 3s and Sunday School

6.30pm - Evening Worship

Holy Communion normally takes place at the first morning service and the third evening service in the month.

A warm welcome awaits you at all our services.

Come inside the church and see the beautiful stained glass windows and magnificant doors.

Explore the Museum and discover the wonderful legacy left by John Bunyan.

Visit our Coffee Shop in the Church Foyer.

Open 10.15am-2.30pm (Tuesday-Friday) and 10.15am-1.00pm (Saturday).

The John Bunyan Museum is on the same site, and is now closed for the winter until 17 February 2015. Group bookings (10 or more) and school parties are welcome by prior arrangement throughout the year.
