The Friends work hard to raise important funds to pay for improvements to the museum and its collections.

This friendly and active group organises several events each year, including talks, visits, music and social events.

Becoming a Friend helps support the museum.

This year's Friends of the John Bunyan Museum & Library event begins on Saturday 7th March with a concert by Cantamus Choir celebrating church music through the ages.

The programme will include works by Zielinsky, Durufle, Edwards, Harris, Amy Beach, Paul Halley, Whitlock, Howells, Szamotu, Laloux, Ireland, Bainton, Rheinberger, Edwards and Woods.

The concert will start at 7.30pm on Saturday 7th March at Bunyan Meeting, Bedford. Tickets will be available at the door and prices are £10 (£8 for Friends). All proceeds go the Friends of the Museum to support the running and projects of John Bunyan Museum & Library.
